There were two tar files which contain ntp source, ntp-test and xntp. The documentation with xntp indicates that it is version 2. I couldn't seem to find any version indication for ntp-test. Which ntp should I use? We will be setting up a SPARC2 as a campus-wide time server. We will not have a reference clock, so we will be accessing the stratum 1 and 2 servers as the documentation suggests. Thanks ahead of time for your help. -- Russell Mosemann Internet: mosemann@crcvms.unl.edu Network Analyst Bitnet: mosemann@unlvax1 Computing Resource Center UUCP: ..!uunet!hoss.unl.edu!mosemann University of Nebraska - Lincoln Voice: (402) 472-5930 Fax: 472-5280
