I have already tried the commercial Mac products that claim to be able to do this, and they can't. Does anyone here know where I might find a description of the arc file format so that I may do my own arc-compatible compression? I know little about PC's, so if there is a better (or more widely used) compression standard, I'd like to hear about it. I would need some reference on how to create the file... Thanks in advance... --clark ----------------------------------------------------------- Clark Anderson InterNet: anderson@apple.com Apple Computer, Inc AppleLink: C.ANDERSON BellNet: 408-974-4593 "I speak only for myself, much to my employers relief..." -----------------------------------------------------------
