This daemon is able to synchronize internet hosts down to the millisecond (as per RFC 1129). It was developed by Petry & Mamakos at the U. of Maryland. Does anyone out there use this or any other time synchronization daemon? Does it work well with RFS & NFS? Does it chew up much CPU or network time? Are there any administrative subtlties or general operating instructions? - Erik
