I had a really nice program called appt which I've been using for a while on a different machine, but I had to delete the source due to a desperate disk space shortage. Also, I couldn't get it to compile on an RS/6000. I tried remind, which was posted recently, but I couldn't get it to do a decent calendar: it insisted on showing an entire month, which invariably sent the top half of it scrolling off the screen. If someone could point out where I could ftp the source for appt, I'd appreciate it. If anyone has any suggestions for other programs they've used and liked, I'd also appreciate that. BTW, an example of appt output, which is ideal for my uses, follows: ____________________________________________________________________________ | Sun | Mon | Tue | Wed | Thu | Fri | Sat | |----------|----------|----------|----------|----------|----------|----------| | 1/13 | 1/14 | 1/15 | * 1/16* | 1/17 | 1/18 | 1/19 | | | | |an appt | |an appt | | | | | |12-5 | |**********| | | | | | | |another | | | | | | | | appt | | |----------|----------|----------|----------|----------|----------|----------| | 1/20 | 1/21 | 1/22 | 1/23 | 1/24 | 1/25 | 1/26 | |somwhere | | |meeting at| |Mom's | | |to go now | | |12 | |birthday | | | | | | | |**********| | | | | | | |a meeting | | |__________|__________|__________|__________|__________|__________|__________| Thank you, Dave Meyer -- David M.
