I have finally obtained a working News reader for the PC. (This is 
not a port of rn or nn for the PC, it is a much simpler product which
I have hacked up from a very very simple one, but it now works quite well.
It reads from a News server over the Internet.)

Now what I need are a News **poster** for the PC (to post to the
same server machine my reader reads from) and a mail sender (sender
only, no need to read).

Does anybody have such things????
