  I've just spent 1/2 an hour trying to find out why I couldn't drag
  data between various applications.

  To save system variable space I've been using SETMACRO instead of
  SET for various path variables such as : 
            
  Font$Path
  System$Path
  Wimp$Scrap

  etc.

  I finally managed, by trial and error, to locate the source to my
  problems, it has something to do with the expansion of a macro
  variable, so to be safe : 
   
  DON'T use SETMACRO for application's variables.
