Some of these bookstores can help you select the book which best suits your needs. One such bookstore is in San Francisco. I think it is called the Unicorn Bookstore. You can post an article to newsgroup comp.unix.questions asking for the name/addresses of bookstores specializing in UNIX material. The Unicorn Bookstore (San Francisco) comes to mind.
