Sapphire gives a 2.4 MIPS rating. It is the equivalent of a 2500 without the 32 Bit memory. The reason 32 Bit memory was not added was to make an Inexpensive Accellerator that alot of people can afford. There might be a '030 version with 32 Bit memory... But like I said the main purpose was to give an increase in speed for a decent price.. Sapphire can be found at dealers for about $340 I beleive... I really Haven't checked.. Since I put mine In I have not had hardly any Compatibility problems with games... I Played Pirates, The Killing Game Show, and A couple of others on it with no problem, and the speed really does help when Compiling those BIG C programs.. and Un-Lharcing 600K Files.
