There is a bug in 1.3 ADOS, something to do with the initial current directory.
Basically, put a "cd sys:" just after setpatch in startup-sequence and
you problems will likely go away.
If not that, then try "cd ram:" before running your mail feeder, or
anything else that changes directory while executing.
