Has anyone done this and if so, :what bytes should be changed and to what? : I think it would take a bit more coding than that to get it to work. There IS some good news in this area though, I have learned recently that some games are supporting at least two button joysticks. Two I know of for certain are R-Type (a pretty good conversion of the arcade original) and Turrican (brand new release). There are probably a few others. In my conversations with Dave Haynie at Commodore he said that two button support is already in the OS on an intuition level and support for a third button is also there, but a little lower down in the OS. There is no reason for developers NOT to make 2 or even 3 button games. What we need to do is organize a letter writing campaign and then mention in our reivews which games support extra buttons. --Moriland -- | hastoerm@vela.acs.oakland.edu | __ | | | __/// Viva Amiga! | | Founder Of: Evil Young | \XX/ | | Mutants For A Better Tomorrow | "Single Tasking: JUST SAY NO!" |
