On the subject of Keyboards for the A500 again....

What does the cable inside the A500 look like (I don't feel like tearing my
Ami apart looking for this thing before I get the proper cables to extend
the reach from non-existante to about5-10 feet on my 500...  what will I need
and can any monkey with a soldering iron (me) do it without disttoying the
machine, myself/and or roomate in the process?
