Well the "cable" is about 6 little wires (More? Less?) that are Firmly into the keyboard part, but "snap" on to 6 little pins on the mother board, It seems it'd be easy to make an extender. But then ya'd have a Hole in ya 500... oh. there's a "thick" ground cable bolted from thekeyboard to the disk drive. (ANit-static?, or just a Ground?
