The unit hangs off the A500 Expansion port, but does not provide a passthrough for other devices you may want to add. However, I've a Supra SCSI interface and hard drive which does have a passthrough so I hooked the RAM board hooked through that. So far, I haven't had any problems in the year these two have been working together. It uses 1M DRAMs and is easy to upgrade yourself (has a capacity of 2M). I paid $330 for it a year and a half ago, but since I'm short on money for school, would be willing to sell it for $150 or the best offer. Butch Rosecrans butch@fergvax.unl.edu
