It isn't available through APDA.  (Even things that are 'available through
APDA' take forever to get.  Try getting technotes sometime.....)  You have
to do what I did: talk to someone in Apple's software license department
and beg for it.  They'll ask you what you want it for.  I told them I was
using it to convert some data from Appleworks, which uses SANE.  The program
comes on five 5 1/4 inch diskettes (at least v 1.1 did) some of which are
Pascal format diskettes.  If you use this in any software you distribute,
even freeware or shareware, you'll need to pay apple's licensing fee.  Last
I knew, for SANE it was $50.00 per program per year, same as ProDOS.
You might have to talk to a few people before you get someone who knows what
you're talking about.  Keep with it and eventually you'll get somebody who
knows.  What you need to ask for is '6502 Assembly Language SANE'.  My
version 1.1 is dated November 6, 1985.
     If you are using this with ORCA/M 4.1 (ProDOS-8 version), you might
have better luck with the floating point library Byteworks sells to go with
it.  It supports the same IEEE floating point format SANE does, except for
SANE's 80 bit extended precision mode.  It's a _lot_ faster and a _lot_
easier to use than SANE is and a _lot_ easier to get (about $40 from
Byteworks).
     I never did get that conversion program working.  Turned out to be
easier to print my spreadsheet to a file and parse the numbers from BASIC.
