Virden Organization: Nedriv Software and Shoe Shiners, Uninc. It may have been one of my postings that someone was wondering about. I have never liked INcider - and I got the first year or so then skipped for a while and was given the last couple years worth to make up for all the other folks who have quit on the Apple II series. In the beginning I disliked the magazine because of Wayne Green. His editorials were insulting, and the magazine consisted of 1 and 2 page articles which had very little substance even for a beginner. I think that the longest code example published back then was about 10 lines of Applesoft. Now, the articles have so little real content in them that it is seldom worth looking at anything other than the ads. The hardware reviews almost cover the questions that one would want to know - but for instance in one recent issue the Apple , RamFast and CMC SCSI cards were 'reviewed'. There was NOTHING negative said about RamFast, and little bad said about the other two. Yet , they were all described as being equal. It is hard to understand equal when the RamFast is so much faster! -- Larry W.
