I booted the (write protected) System disk, and it said that SCSI drives needed a driver. It booted otherwise normally, but the hard disk was not online. Fine. I copied the System disk onto a blank, booted it, then added (with the installer) the "SCSI Hard Disk" from the installer menu. I then booted THAT disk, and it STILL claims that a driver is required! The SCSI is the normal Apple SCSI and it worked just fine with 5.0.3 Sigh. NOW what's wrong with this buggy pile of phlegm? -- Nick Sayer | Think of me as a recombinant | RIP: Mel Blanc mrapple@quack.sac.ca.us | Simpson: Homer's looks, Lisa's | 1908-1989 N6QQQ [44.2.1.17] | brains, Bart's manners, and | May he never 209-952-5347 (Telebit) | Maggie's appetite for TV. --Me | be silenced.
