( and it always tries to show the full selections - by not only dropping down but droppIng up (can I say that?) as well. As it is now, STeno has the drop-down (or drop-up, which IS pretty clever, when there isn't enough room for the menus to drop down) menus inside the desk accessory window; STalker has a pop-up menu when you press the left mouse button. However, Eric tells me that in version 3.0, STalker will have the drop-menu inside the desk acc. window just as STeno has now. - Yet another feature is that they can both be run as DAs or prgs off - the desktop. Actually there are yet still more other features - unmentioned AND STalker 3.x w/script language and other things will - be out soon. Another addition STalker 3.0 will have, according to Eric, is an enhanced transfer section. Instead of just displaying the transfer status in the window's information line, a separate, smaller window will be created which will show the estimated transfer time, time remaining, size of the file, etc., etc., like Z-term on the Mac. -- Ed Krimen ............................................... ||| Video Production Major, California State University, Chico ||| INTERNET: ekrimen@ecst.csuchico.edu FREENET: al661 / | \ SysOp, Fuji BBS: 916-894-1261 FIDONET: 1:119/4.0
