I *used* to have a net access to my office through boulder.EDU!tcr!gadgets!dsmall. This died an unhappy death when the host system gave its power supply to save another AT&T 7300's life (just *try* and find a power supply for them). Since then, email to that address has gone to the great bit bucket in the sky; I have to periodically shovel the bits around the telephone line off the floor... dust buster doesn't seem to work. I do hang out here on The Well on a less-often basis (as it's not for-free, see) and *try* to answer mail. I've been poor at it recently as 110% of my time has been allocated to getting Spectre 3.0 out the door -- FINALLY done -- as well as the 68030 board. I apologize to people I've not answered. I will point out that I'm a NetMoron, and OFTEN I'll write up a nice 50-line reply to someone's question -- and have it "bounce" back to me. I'm sure there's some easy, swell way to figure out why, but I sure haven't found out. It's frustrating. Worse are the letters saying, "Why don't you reply?" That's mondo frustrating. Anywho, for the time being, use dsmall@well.sf.ca.us, or whatever path (see above) this message arrived to you through. Sorry for the troubles with the Net link. It's supposed to be back up on a new UNIX box in my office, and it UUCP's okay, and nothing happens... fizzle. -- thanks, Dave Small / Gadgets by Small / Well Known Net Idiot
