Summary: Expires: Sender: Reply-To: wilsona@cs.glasgow.ac.uk (Alan Wilson) Followup-To: Distribution: Organization: Comp Sci, Glasgow Univ, Scotland Keywords: I have recently acquired a 68881 FPU, and would like to hear from anyone who has attempted, or knows anything about, attaching it to my 1Mb STFM. I did initially think it just plugged in, but I now realise that only Megas have the appropriate socket. As I have a few programs that will generate code for it if installed, I really would like to attempt to get it working. (For one fractal graphics application, without the 68881 takes 30 mins per screen, with 68881 4 mins...!). If anyone knows how it can be done, or knows of a board I can purchase, please, please reply. I should be able to receive mail from any source, or reply through the net. ############################################################################### # /\ / Alan # USEnet : wilsona!glasgow!mcsun!... # # /__\ /\ / Wilson # ARPAnet: wilsona@cs.glasgow.ac.uk # #/ \/ \/ 1990. # USA : wilsona%cs.glasgow.ac.uk@nsfnet-relay.ac.uk # ###############################################################################
