Since this IS of general interest, I'm posting also. The XT2190 has 17 sectors per track as do all ST-506/412 MFM drives. HOWEVER, it appears to me that he's gonna have problems because the menu for the "enhanced" s4diag disk clearly specifies the characteristics of the XT2190 and he's not going to have success formatting the XT2190 on the 3B1 without that disk, without the P5.1 upgrade, and without a WD2010.
