Pinkerton) Organization: University of Colorado, Denver Lines: 14 We have a number of HP9000/300's (375's and 345's) and recently we acquired an HP Scanjet Plus. We are planning on connecting it via the centronics interface on the 375 - and one of our local SE's is providing us with some limited control software to interface the 375 and the scanner. I understand that after scanning a page/document/whatever one is left with a file that is in a PCL format. Does anyone have or know of any OCR software that has been ported onto an HP9000 Series 300 ?? (We are running HP-UX 7.0 currently, soon to be 7.0.3). Any thoughts or insights would be appreciated. scott pinkerton scpinker@pikes.denver.colorado.edu
