traditionally (ie: since '87) on the 540 we have brought the system 
down for backups to do fsck on all the disks every week.

now that we have an 822 and i am reorganizing the backups. i
want to question this. ie: is it REALLY neccessary to fsck the disks
every week before my incremental?
