I want to install a second harddisk, with ST506 interface. The PC 30 III has an ESDI controller on the motherboard, hence it can't probably work with an additional controller. (Or can it?) Any suggestions ? Theo ------------------------------------------------------------ Theo Vermeer Fac. Informatica VU A'dam Internet: theo@cs.vu.nl Boelelaan 1081 k. This interface kan not co-reside with a ST506 without significant trouble. (i.e. writing your own driver and possibly doing some HW mods) A hardcard, or any controller that uses it own BIOS might work ( perhaps the Seagte ST01, hooked up to a SCSI drive) Be warned, though, a friend of mine could not get a Plus Hardcard to work in this machine, something both Plus and Commodore agreed on being a compatibility problem.
