It is not so dark as to make me think a scan line is out, and it is evident in all modes/applications. I have the standard issue Diamond Speedstar 1Mb video board (Tseng 4000). The Gateway tech. said that every Sony 1304 has this "feature". He said it is a wire that causes the slight shadow on the screen. Can anyone confirm/refute this? (BTW, I am happy with the system, 200Mb Maxtor. The so-called "shadow" is barely visible, and the Sony 1304 looks great.) Kipp Kreft kipp@gistdev.gist.com
