Message-ID: <1991Jan21.140218.6608@msuinfo.cl.msu.edu> Date: 21 Jan 91 14:02:18 GMT Sender: news@msuinfo.cl.msu.edu Reply-To: bourd@buster.cps.msu.edu (Robert Bourdeau) Followup-To: comp.sys.ibm.pc.hardware Organization: Computer Science, Michigan State University, E. Lansing Lines: 13 A friend of mine had an extra 3 1/2" drive (720k) that he had taken out of his computer (to replace with a HD drive). He offered it to me; I took it. So I have just a 3 1/2" drive, no cable, no information. Do I need a special controller for such a drive? Will either my floppy or hard drive controller cards work with it? How do I find these things out? Thanks for any ideas. --- Robert Bourdeau --- bourd@buster.cps.msu.edu --- Michigan State University
