In less than 12 hours I got eighteen responses. I just wanted to thank USENET for all of the help. Even though it seemed like a simple problem, people care. I hope this spirit never dies. (by the way, I showed all the responses recommending buying new manuals for our lab, and the professor laughed saying, not body ever reads them anyway. So I went out an bought my own copy of THINK C 4.0 today! Thanks for the advice) The answer to the question was to link in the ANSI library and put it in a different segment. One last simple thing, on sumex I seen a thing called THINK 4.02 updater, does anybody know what this is? -Charles Bruen MIT Aero/Astro cabruen@athena.mit.edu
