Subject: Excel:paste linked cells in dif docs fail when 1 doc closed

I have linked cells between documents (in the same folder), and when
both docs are open, everything is fine.  The cell is referenced as
the short path name.  When I close the doc with the cell to which the
other (open) doc is pointing to, I get a REF! error.  Any ideas?

Also, when pasting from the Mac calcultor to a cell, I sometimes get
a crash.
