I have seen FrameMaker used on Unix workstations and it seems to be a
very nice writing/drawing/page-layout environment.  Our university has
a license to use several instances of the program in X windows.

How much is the Mac version like the X version?  Could the university
extend that license to include the Mac version of the program?  How
much does the program cost?  Is there a student discount?  I don't
know of many students willing to pay more than $100 for any program,
and with the availability of Nisus at that price, I am considering
purchasing it since it may be worth the learning curve from Word.
