Most often mentioned was the new Norton Utilities for Macintosh, 1st runner up: BAD Init (available in the archives) 2nd runner up: SUM II (Symantech) And the actual winner...... SUM II from Symantech (because it was available in the campus computer store and we could use internal paper rather than pay cash.) I had an early edition of SUM, but it didn't have that capability. Spent today scanning and fixing up various problems with the HD and with the Bernoulli Box that was giving me trouble.
