I will use my system for the basic word processing, database, spreadsheet, and some recreation stuff. I also must have Ethernet (true bona-fide 10Mbits/sec) because the dorm I reside in at college has E-net - it makes computer class Alot easier! I come from the MS-DOS world and I am converting over to apple because of alot of reasons. I also would use my computer for programming in pascal and down the road C++. Well, I am trying to decide among an SE/30 or the Mac IIsi or ci. I love the integrated SE/30 I think it is great. but the IIsi has great color for an out-of-the-box-system. I would also like to be able to run UNIX if the need arises. Which should I buy? - One of the computer I owned in the past was an IBM PCjr, and as you know, IBM just up and left the jr users - I would not to get an SE/30 only to let apple up and leave the classic one piece design macs for the Mac II line. I was just wondering which computer do you think would fit what I described better. But I must have Ethernet. thanx for the help Grey Mull -- Grey Mull - The "Mull-Man" +--------------------------------+ Computer and Technology | "Every now and then you have to| Theme Program - NCSU | rebuild the world..." | Internet: blaine@catt.ncsu.edu | -Steve Jobs, CEO NeXT Inc. |
