If it works, don't futz with it. If it doesn't work you can use Apple's formula - Termination on the first device on the chain (usually internal hadr drive) and the last device. Or you can use my scientific method. Put a terminator in the loop and move it from device to device until it works. And if it allready works, leave it alone, it doesn't need one.
