Message-ID: <1991Jan16.231355.3992@csn.org> Date: 16 Jan 91 23:13:55 GMT Sender: news@csn.org Organization: University of Colorado Lines: 19 Nntp-Posting-Host: csgator2.colorado.edu I would like to allow the user to grow a window to the size of his/her largest monitor or beyond. I have noticed that in the Finder, the size of the folder windows may not exceed the size of the main monitor (the one with the menu bar) even if the window is in a larger monitor. I want to avoid this problem by asking how one properly gets the sizeRect for GrowWindow. If sizeRect is the size of the main monitor, then it can not be grown for any larger monitors. If it is defined by the monitor containing the upper-left corner of the window, then the window can not be grown into a second monitor. Should I make it the union of the rects from all monitors? Is there a guideline about this?
