Message-ID: Date: 16 Jan 91 03:02:43 GMT Sender: news@OSF.ORG Distribution: comp Organization: Open Software Foundation Lines: 20 The subject line says it all. I have version 2.0.1 running on System 6.0.7. I have had a problem with the MS Word documents being recognized as such correctly. Dragging the MS Word application to the mac desktop (i.e. the area where the trashcan resides) seem to permanently fixed the problem. If I don't use the Desktop Manager, I didn't have this problem. For those of you who don't know the Desktop Manager is a AppleShare startup document that speeds up the opening of large directories. The Desktop Manager works even if you don't use AppleShare.
