After checking for Viruses and reloading the system (stripping out all of the inits) and MacX software -- the problem has not gone away. System 6.0.5 MacX 1.0.1 MacTCP 1.0.1 Mac IIcx (two page Apple Display) Apple Ethernet Card The problem is that when I start up MacX a number of my command streams don't start up -- instead they give me the message: Not enough memory is available to issue the needed name resolver query or to build the DNR cache. SO, I bumped memory for MacX, the finder and the system heap. The problem is persistent. Has anyone seen this? Bruce Beare bjb@pyramid.com
