Both our PS/2 model 50Z workstations lose their connections to the server after about 7 minutes of idle time. A PS/2 model 60 on the same network doesn't have this problem. I've tried switching cables, terminators, I/O addresses on the Ethernet cards (all Novell NE/2s on interrupt 3) and the network topology; the result is always the same, the PS/2 60 works fine and both PS/2 50Zs fail. I am using XMSNET3 and the latest version of IPX (recently downloaded off COMPUSERV). Is there anything special about the model 50Z PC, or is the server just possessed? -- "make lots of money", "enjoy the work", "operate within the law": pick any 2 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Brian Anderson | "It's hard to work in a group when you're castillo@media-lab.media.mit.edu | omnipotent." - Q, ST-thg "Deja-Q"
