Greetings!

About a week and a half or so ago, I sent out a request for sources for
external SCSI terminator packs for disk drives (so you wouldn't have to
open up the drive to change the termination of the devices.  I got several
responses and here is a synopsis:

I would think that most of the 3rd party OEM dealers would carry them.  I
got mine from Andataco (800) 334-9191.  I paid $65 apiece.  Let me know if
you can find them cheaper.  Be sure to specify if you need the 3 row D
type connector of the 2 row mini connector.  Good luck.

and finally,

External terminators need power.  Some shoeboxes have power driven on pin
26 (I think, but don't count on 26 being correct) for external terminators
and some do not.  We have purchaced shoeboxes from Andataco that come with
terminators.  They may be willing to sell you just the terminator.  (Note
that Sun 3/60s have this pin grounded and will blow the power supply if
plugged into such a drive.)
