The initial make of gcc runs smoothly. However, when I recompile gcc with itself (making the stage2 compiler), I get the following error: stage1/gcc -g -O -Bstage1/ -o genflags genflags.o rtl.o obstack.o alloca.o ./genflags md > tmp-flags.h sh: 21602 Memory fault - core dumped *** Error code 139 make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `stamp-flags' I have gotten the same error making gcc-1.37.1. Anyone else have this problem and/or suggestions? Please respond by email. Phillip F Smith, Math & Computer Science, Youngstown State Univ. -----phil@macs.ysu.edu
