Does anybody have good fonts or macros for doing hex?  I haven't been
able to find anything at clarkson or texhax.  My current best is
to go into \tt (done in the TeXbook), which looks really ugly -
    \def\hex#1{\tt\uppercase{#1}}
what one really needs are the digits 'A'-'F' in a font, instead of
just the letters.
