(My use and therefore knowledge of TeX is quite limited). I have been trying to install a Versatec driver for DVI files. This comes under the laser-setters/umd-dvi directory in the TeX distribution. Running `make' produces two binaries(verser1 & verser2) and a shellscript(dvipr). One of the statements in the shellscript is : verser1 $flags $dvifile | spool -d versatec -verser2 -t "$title" Obviously `verser1' is run over the input DVIfile and the output is piped to `verser2'. `spool' is probably some kind of a spooler for the Versatec plotter. My problem is the error message : sh: spool: not found Does anyone have any idea what `spool' is and where I can find it. If you do, please E-mail me your responses. Many thanks in advance - Shekhar Borde alpha@hubcap.clemson.edu
