Message-ID: <21609.9101211518@manutius.ecs.soton.ac.uk> Date: 21 Jan 91 15:18:13 GMT Sender: daemon@ecs.soton.ac.uk Lines: 8 Is anyone working on a TeX previewer for Windows 3 that has some idea that the environment might supply the fonts, rather than the driver supplying bitmaps? It would work like the PS drivers which have a list of builtin fonts. Now that we have ATM for Windows, it seems silly to go on hurling bitmaps of CMR at the screen when a sophisticated rasterizing program is lurking in the background to do the work for us.
