AG, Walldorf Germany Lines: 15 folks, i'd like to summarize the answer to the nfs mounts that fail with an "Authorization error" since i've gotten so many requests for it. courtesy of Wendy Ross , root can be in only eight groups when mounting from a system with older NFS (see info: Identifying the cause of slow access times for NFS). simply edit /etc/groups, or use "smit user" to update the group list for root. enjoy! --bw wohler@sap-ag.de
