Message-ID: <1991Jan22.035718.13227@portia.Stanford.EDU> Date: 22 Jan 91 03:57:18 GMT Sender: buc@jessica.Stanford.EDU Distribution: usa Organization: AIR, Stanford University Lines: 31 I have 2 AT&T SCSI hard drives attached to an AT&T 3B2 computer; they are different models. I would like to move the drives to a SUN-3, SUN-4 or SparcStation but haven't been able to get them to format on a SUN. The drive information is; Model: AT&T DCM Code: ED-3T011-30 G1 Label: DCM/4E Model: AT&T DM Code: ED-3T011-30, G5 Label: DM/147E The "Label" above refers to the marking found on a label placed on the inside front panel of the hard drive units. If anyone knows if and how these can be formated for a SUN, I would appreciate any assistance. =============================================================================== Rob Richards Supercomputer & Workstation Support Staff Stanford University Winston Churchill once remarked, ``Politics are almost as exciting as war, and quite as dangerous.
