I am porting gcc to generate code for the Weitek Abacus math coprocessor.
It appears that unix does not initialize the Weitek, or does not do so
properly.  Does anyone know how to do this?  In addition to the
exception masks, I suspect there are counters in the pipeline that
need initialization too.
