Can someone somewhere (second time I've asked this) tell me answers to these two things:- 1) What are decent 'fudge factors' to tell 'dump' when it's working on a TLZ04 ? We have 2xTLZ04, 1xDS5000/200, Ultrix 4.1 (sort of) and time is running out... 2) How can we access the DDS tape-partitioning facility under 4.1 ? Generating an index block on the tape, fast-seeking, all that sort of thing. Is there an shell interface to it yet, or is there only a C interface. If *either*, can I have details. The docs are non-existent but the machines are plugged in and time is fading fast... Please help - reading non-existent documentation is driving me bonkers!
