Now I am having problems using the conversion files, to convert text to different formats. I suspect it is still looking in c:\winword for the files. I do not want to reinstall winword, so I attempted to reinstall it "over" the existing one. When it asked me for the directory, I put c:\windows\winword It then copied some stuff to that directory, and when it asked me if I wanted conversions, I said no, because I already had the conversion files there. Anyway, whenever I try to, say, save a file in a different format, it brings up an error message saying it can't find the appropriate conversion file. Any suggestions? -Ron Ron Winograd ron@vpnet.chi.il.us
