It is not in /pub/pc/win3/video, and is called "win30drv.zip". It contains, among other things, the 640x400x256 and 800x600x256. It also has a "fast" 800x600x16 and a "fast" 1024x768x16. I have the fast 800x600x16 installed, and all that I can say is that it is not slower than the older driver. Should have done some benchmarks before zapping the old sytem, I guess. QUESTION for the net: my card's documentation does not say that it can do 800x600x256. I don't know why, because it certainly will have enough memory if I put in 512K on the card. So, my question is: has Paradise done something to the driver to allow this to happen? If so I am upgrading my card pronto. I'd be grateful for any info. kartik -- Anant Kartik Mithal akm@cs.uoregon.edu Network Manager, (503)346-4408 (msgs) Department of Computer Science, (503)346-4156 (direct) University of Oregon, Eugene, OR 97403-1202
