In trying to run openwin/demo/xview I find that it frequently
hangs. This occurs at random intervals. The bad part is that
the entire machine refuses to respond to the mouse or the keyboard.
I fix it by remotely logging in from some other machine and killing
othello. Button events are queued while the system is hung and are
executed after othello is killed.

I am running X11R4 and xview/olwm from the X tape on a SparcStation 1+.

Whether or not there is a problem with othello, the fact that the window
system freezes is totally unacceptable. Is this a known problem with
X or olwm?
