I have just started recieving this echo. Since I dont have any back messages to review, I can only comment via the name of the echo, and two messages that I have gotten. I am currently recieving pain therapy and am taking a healthy dose of Vicodin 6 times a day. I would like to know something. How do I get off this. If I do not take the Vicodin, I start getting severe headaches, stomach aches, chills, and other symptoms. Besides having the return of the pain for which I am taking the Vicodin in the first place. Once I take the stupid stuff, everything returns, somewhat, to normal. Plus, taking it does not really get rid of my pain that well anymore unless I take a larger amount, which I have avoided doing, to date. I know I am probubly adicted to the stuff. My question is how do I get off of it and still control my pain. HELP!! All my doctor does is keep prescribing more. I tried to stop and I have never suffered like I did for two days untill I started taking the Vicodin again. My life is restricted enough as it is without this. -- Uucp: ..!{decvax,oliveb}!bunker!hcap!hnews!387!606!Dennis.James Internet: Dennis.James@f606.n387.z1.fidonet.org
