There is a 12 meg database on the subject which I have also which is extensive and deep. There are some nice options. Adult ed is 4 weeks and only a paper is due. In masters (transferable credits) there is a midterm final and paper due as well as required statments weekly of at least 50 lines. I have also had each stuent do a project. One did a paper on phonemic code and how a voice box works. One education major wriote how computers are used in education. One organization psych major explained how this tech can be used in the workplace. One special ed major wanted to explain how the different disabilities use tech to learn. he is now setting up a small lab for jr High students in Canada. Another made a tactile graphic screen moniter.. he was my PhD student! So the project is the most creative part of the class. It is totally individual. Dr Levinson is a genius at having formulated this in 1985. It is a strong marvelous way to learn and to teach. I hope it intrigues you enough to look into it. Imagine.. you are in Michigan and can take a class in NYC without leaving your home! How nice! I think this kind of educaton has a grand future. -- Uucp: ..!{decvax,oliveb}!bunker!hcap!hnews!107!608!Tzipporah.Benavraham Internet: Tzipporah.Benavraham@f608.n107.z1.fidonet.org
