Today's local paper had an article by one of the regular columnists
titled "Remembering all the real people who really are special".
There was a quote in the article from an 89 year old lady who "had
seen her share of good and bad times":
    " Every setback is a challenge. Instead giving up, we should
      welcome it to prove our own strength".
Well said and, for me, just in time.
